Updated for States

This year we are going to be headed to State competition with our Show Choir.  This means that there are some important things that need to happen in the next month.  The following information is very important to remember:

 

1. Attendance from this point on is a must!  If too many rehearsals are missed then the member may not be able to compete in the competition. 

* Weather-  If there is no school there is no Show Choir.  If there is school there will be Show Choir regardless of the weather.  However, if for some reason Show Choir must be cancelled please check your student’s gmail in the mornings and an email will be there to cancel.  Or check our Facebook page as I will update that as necessary.

 

2.)  Costumes are good to go…. Please make sure to keep them in a place where you can easily find them.  If you have a school costume please leave it here.  If you want to bring your personal costume and hang it up we can do that in my office.

 

3.)  Competition Information

 

The Competition will take place at Ellsworth High School on March 31st.  We will be assigned a time by the end of this week.  All of our kids will be taking a bus to competition and we will be there most of the day.  There will also be a return bus to Caravel at the end of the evening (times will come when I know).  You are welcome to attend the competition to watch our kids.  There is an admission charge and again, more information about the times will come at a later date.

 

4.)  Fan T-Shirts.

A parent has put together an awesome fan t-shirt with our Show Choir info on it as well as the kids names.  There are order forms with prices in the office and they have been sent home with the kids.  Anyone can buy these including the kids, parents, sibling, etc.  Our hope is that everyone in the Show choir will have one.
